Motorist in Toronto woke up to a record high gas price of $1.599 per litre on Sunday, February 13, 2022. Gas price is expected to hike more over the coming weeks citing concerns over Russian invasion of Ukraine. A war involving Russia is of concern as Russia is the third largest producer of oil in the world behind United States and  Saudi Arabia.
